Nippon chosen as paint partner for New Telangana Secretariat

Hyderabad Nippon Paint (India) has been chosen as the paint partner of the new Telangana Secretariat project which is under construction in Hyderabad, the company said here on Friday.
The interior and exterior walls of the new Telangana Secretariat project will be painted using Nippon Paint's hi-tech and eco-friendly paints. The lead project architects are Oscar and Ponni Architects. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently visited the construction site. Architect Ponni Concessao, Architect Oscar accompanied the Chief Minister and appraised him about the progress of the project, the company said in a statement.
Speaking about the tie-up, S Mahesh Anand, President (Decorative Paint), Nippon Paint India, said: "As the first receivers of both GreenCo GreenPro certifications in India, we are excited to join hands with the Telangana government to be part of beautifying this landmark space. City beautifications are an important part of Nippon's initiatives because they contribute to achieving cleaner and greener cities. This partnership is in line with Nippon Paint's efforts to beautify public spaces by painting them. Further, the new secretariat building will be a green building by design, which matches Nippon Paint India commitment to creating a greener future. The painting activity will be executed within the next couple of weeks.
